Wrapping Up! - Cities Skylines: Berrysville - 11

Everything has to end at some point, today is the last episode of the route 66 project, Berrysville. I could've kept going but I felt like I wanted to end it at the peak of the series. It has been a very special project for me in many ways. My vision was to combine high detail with viewer suggested stories for things we build, which would give the town more character and feel more like a real town. At this point, the town has more than 15 custom stories created by viewers. I can't thank everyone enough that has created stories for this town, It's just incredible. And of course, a massive thank you to the amazing asset creators that wanted to help me with this series, Conno, DieHardHunter, KingLeno and ThatEvan. Without them, this series would not have been able to turn into what it is now. Last but definitely not least, a big thank you to everyone that has watched and supported this series. I really, really appreciate it! In the coming weeks, there will be a few more special videos for Berrysville that you'll have to stay tuned for. When 2019 starts, I want to resume back to New Toulouse. But other than that, I hope to be able to create more projects that will entertain and give inspiration to people in the future. Berrysville is a small American town that's inspired by places along route 66 in Texas. The main focus is to capture the feeling of a present town that was bustling in the 30s, 40s and 50s when the route 66 was used, but now is suffering from the lack of traffic going through the town. The absence of traffic on the route made some of the motels, gas stations and stores go out of business. Now the town has a lot of old abandoned motels, gas stations and stores and the town is barely staying alive.
