Why hasn't The Snyder Cut of Justice League been released?

It’s been two years since the release of Justice League. The movie didn’t really leave anyone satisfied, but for a small (large?) group of fans, there exists hope in “The Snyder Cut,” the version for the movie Zack Snyder was working on before he left production. But if this supposed better version of the movie exists, and people want to see it, why hasn’t Warner Bros. released it yet?
