Cities Skylines: Amar City (Part 8) - Central City Roundabout

Today in Amar City, we're adding the first of some important roadworks allowing people to get into the city as well as its future university, hospital, sports area and airport - a large roundabout. It may not seem like much, but it's the end of the highway leading to the city and the main point where traffic splits off into the various neighborhoods. Incidentally, the garden centerpiece of the roundabout is a model from the actual country of Bahrain! It doesn't exist anymore for an extremely controversial, political, eventually lethal reasons during the Arab Spring - but it's a rare case where I can nod to the original country with one of very few Gulf themed assets, even if it is one with a very controversial past.

As a sidenote, even though I don't want to unleash any fiery political conflicts, I didn't mention the pearl's past in the video because I actually looked into it after recording the commentary. Just maybe I'll bring it up in future videos, but I definitely want to be careful with the topic.
